Delivery sushi and other midweek adventures

It’s been a sushi week for me. Why? I don’t know. I just wanted to. Delivery sushi seems like an iffy idea, but it’s really not. I had kaiten sushi on Monday, and was still dreaming about it on Wednesday, so I ordered delivery sushi! It was cheaper to have it delivered, and a lot more variety and side dishes. In the picture, you can see some miso soup, some corn or cream of chicken soup (I don’t know?), a salad, and some assorted fried food … I split this up between dinner and breakfast, and it was amazing.

On Monday (the kaiten sushi day), I had to go to the underground mall/subway station to buy more socks, because of all the holes in all of my current socks. Went overboard and bought too many socks, but is there really such a thing as too many socks?

Exhibit A: fun socks. My favorite were the “sleep socks”, which are fuzzy and warm things that, duh, keep your feet warm at night. My only regret is that I only bought one pair of them – you can see a bit of it peeking out in the lower left-hand corner, with that snowflake graphic on the retail packaging. I guess I can always go back and, uh, buy more socks?

I wasn’t too keen on this lunch, because work lunch tends to be kind of exciting, and this was just … bleh. That said, the porridge was quite nice, and so was the 붕어빵 (red-bean bun in the shape of a fish) … and the other 반찬 too, come to think of it. What was I complaining about, again?
